Nanny in German family 2004-2005 Journalist, freelancer (Ukrainian MEDIA) 2006-2010 Nanny, participant of the cultural program Au Pair, lived in Washington D.C. in the American family and took care of two kids.
Teaching Approach
Didn't teach any language professionally, but did teach children aged 3 to 9 both Ukrainian and Russian, and back in Ukraine - English. Used a lot of reading, visual demonstrations (like teaching slides), dictations, acted out situational dialogs, encouraged to watch cartoons in language is studied at the moment etc.
