I'm 28 years old. Have always been excited about languages. Specifically English and Spanish. I've lived about half my life Canada and the other half in Mexico. When I came to Canada I didn't know much english. So I set to self study, which taught me the different problems and habits that hold us back from speaking fluently. Now I can speak English confidently and with complete fluency. People always get very surprised when I reveal that I am from Mexico and that my native tongue is in fact Spanish.
High school, Manitoba. Coastguard College (alphanumeric alphabet and training on communicating clearly through radio)
Translator at Expo 2008: I was an interpreter for many foreign business investors. Sub contractor for official certified translations english & spanish: I was hired by a small freelance company in Mexico that legally certifies translations: medical, immigration and goverment documents. My job was to translate in paper, and arrange the format of the document according to a specific set of guidelines (spacing, capital letters names and specific words that can't be translated, etc) I would then send for submission where after proof reading it would get a certified stamp I've also taught english and use to host Spanish speaking circles here in Canada.
I specialize in diction. So that when you speak, it's clean, clear, fluent and in time fast. Making the right enunciation and listening to the vowels sounds makes all the difference! I like to be more casual with my teaching but I can also get into the complicated details of subjunctive, superlatives, infinitive verbs, perfect and imperfect preterite. I like to take this things and simplify them to a more practical level
