I have worked with students hundreds of students in my 15+ year career. I have taught grades 3 through 10 in both Ontario and Quebec. While working in Ottawa for the OCDSB I marked and anchored the year end EQAO exams that are compulsory for grades 3, 6, and 9 students.

My lessons would be adapted to the students needs. I am familiar with many reading and writing tests and would adapt lessons in order to facilitate the learning of each student. Everyone learns differently; I have three simple diagnostic tests and after these were given i would have a better understanding of the needs of each particular student. Depending upon the needs of the student my lessons would focus on grammar, sound patterns and phonetics. I also have software on my home computer that may be very helpful, it is often used for students who have learning disabilities.

Evenings during the week would be ideal.

Clients home if in Ottawa, or my home if the students are able to travel to Aylmer Quebec. (15 min from downtown Ottawa)
