Hi there! My name is Mai, a native Japanese speaker. I've lived in Toronto for more than 3 years and I have work experience as a certified Japanese instructor at a Japanese language school. I would like you to experience the immersion education style in my lessons, because it is the fastest way to improve your language skills. Please DO NOT hesitate to make mistakes! Mainly immersion education style (if you feel so much stress, I am willing to teach English).
Beginner - Intermediate: use PowerPoint slides in which you can easily understand the meanings and the grammars by images (the PowerPoint slides basically follow Minna No Nihongo).
Advanced: using actual news articles, videos on YouTube, check grammar or idioms and discuss Japanese culture.
