French native speaker, currently in the University of British Columbia for an exchange year, with three years of experience in tutoring.
I am a third year student in the French highly selective university Sciences Po Paris, in the major "politics and government".
Native French speaker, I obtained the grade of 20/20 at the oral examination of French in my country. I also reached an average grade of 20/20 at the Baccalauréat.
I am able to teach french courses for all levels.
I have three years of experience in tutoring. When I was in France, I taught economics, french, philosophy and mathematics courses for middle-school and high school students.This allows me to have a strong adaptability and a good knowledge of the basis of teaching.
Also, I gave voluntary french lessons to refugees with the association Sciences Po Refugee Help. This edifying experience allowed me to find new ways of communication, developped my teaching skills and strengthened my passion for the languages.
My teaching approach is adaptable to meet the expectations of the student.
If I teach kids, I try to do funny activities to learn french in an interesting way. I am convinced that we learn better when we like what we do.
If I work with adults, I can teach in a more academic way.
Above all, I like to work in a good mood and make the learning of French a pleasurable activity. I emphasize the discovery of culture and traditions as an integral part of the learning of a new language.
I am very available. I can give lessons every Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday from 9am to 8pm. I am also available on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday afternoon.
I prefer to give lessons via zoom. However, I can give in-person lessons.
