I'm an Arabic native speaker with a B.A. in Arabic Language and Literature and a High Diploma in Semitic Linguisitics. More than 20 years experience in teaching Arabic. I tutor all levels and ages. I tutor one-on-one and I can accommodate and tutor you in either your home or at a place near you.

B.A. in Arabic Language and Literature from Damascus University, Syria. High Diploma in Semitic Linguisitics from Yerevan University, Armenia.
Professional Experience
1984-1988: Arabic teacher (TA) in Tishreen University, Syria, taught first and second year university levels. 1988-1996: Secondary school Arabic teacher for grade 12, in Santa, Yemen. 2008-Present: Private Arabic teacher in Hamilton, Ontario. Both group classes and individual tutoring. Range of all ages and levels.
Teaching Approach
Grammar, reading, writing, conversational speaking. Includes short novels and Arabic grammar books.
Availability
Mondays, Tuesday's, Thursday's and Friday's. Available days and evenings from 9AM to 9PM!
Teaching Place(s)
I can teach at my client's home if the distance is up to 10 km. Fees will increase for longer distances. Ican also teach at a public space such as a group work table at a library.

I’ve had Mahmoud as an Arabic teacher since I was young. During our weekly sessions, we would practice reading, writing, and speaking. These lessons have helped me maintain and improve my language. Mahmoud is an expert in the Arabic language and knows what he is talking about. He teaches all ages and all levels from beginner to fluent speakers and works to help the student at their level. Moreover, he is very friendly and understanding. I would definetly recommend Mahmoud as an Arabic tutor.
