Professional actor with two decades of experience working in film, theatre and television and four years of experience coaching and teaching performers.
Graduate of the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory and the Centre for Actor Training at Shakespeare & Co. in Lenox, Massachusetts. I have trained with internationally revered teachers including Kristin Linklater, Larry Moss and Lindy Davies. I studied Gender and Film Theory at the University of Toronto and I am a trained life and wellness coach, currently a candidate for ICF certification.
I am a professional actor with over thirty IMDb credits. For the past five years I have been coaching and mentoring actors building careers in film, television and theatre. I work with everyone! From recent theatre school grads building careers to teens auditioning for programs to kids who want to explore and have fun. This past summer I ran a drama camp for five kids who wrote, shot and edited their own movie!
I have been a working actor since I was ten years old. Whether working with beginners or advanced students, I facilitate a safe space for taking creative risks and making discoveries. My personal values of compassion, curiosity and respect deeply inform the way I approach my work. I combine my experience as a performer with years of acting training and my training as a life, wellness and confidence coach.
With my beginner students, I emphasize the importance of exploration, self expression, play and discovery while introducing the fundamentals of performance and story.
I work with my advanced students on smart preparation, emotional availability, cultivating presence, building confidence and creating compelling characters.
I am flexible and can easily adapt to student's schedules
online or in person at my home office
