Highly skilled and dedicated to the field of education with experience in "one-on-one" tutoring as well as college classes. Giving on-line lessons during COVID-19 via WhatsApp or Zoom. Trustworthy professional with superior communication skills who develops strong and meaningful relationships with students of all backgrounds, disabilities or learning difficulties. Hebrew native speaker, fluent also in English and Arabic. Conversational Hebrew specialist that will get you speaking quickly, using slang, songs and cultural idioms that build confidence right from the start.
B.A in Middle Eastern studies, and M.A in Education and Criminology
A college professor teaching Criminal Justice and Emergency Management, while giving private lessons in Hebrew for a number of students at home. In the past taught Hebrew to foreign students at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem Israel. I am a retired police officer but don't worry - my gun and handcuffs are not part of my teaching strategy today. Funny stories and experiences are part of my lessons though :)
Depending on the need, my teaching may include a textbook or just practicing conversation skills, correcting mistakes and fine-tuning the spoken language along the way.
My motto is as follows: Mistakes are expected, respected, inspected, and lastly - corrected. I find that immediate constructive feedback builds confidence and shortens the learning process. You can count on my experience, or if you prefer - talk to my students..
I am flexible and can teach mornings or afternoons all week, including weekends. Evenings are less convenient, but possible - call to schedule a convenient time.
I am flexible here also - I can have students come to my house or go to your place, or alternate - whatever you prefer.
