Ciao! Salut! Hi! I am an Italian native speaker and University Language Instructor, with three degrees in the fields of modern languages, literatures, cultures and translation earned in Italy, England, France, Canada and Portugal. I have experience in language teaching to different types of learners (children, young adults, adults), at various levels (beginner/intermediate/advanced) and in disparate environments (university, NGO, one-to-one tutoring). I am truly passionate about languages and cultures and love teaching them!

Education / Certificates
BA in English and French languages and literatures; MA in Translation (English/Italian); MA in European Cultural Studies; currently pursuing an MA in Didactics of Italian.
Professional Experience
After tutoring high school students, I taught English to 5-12-year-old children in an NGO in Córdoba, Argentina. I also taught French and Italian as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for one academic year at the University of Guelph. Since September, I have been running Italian seminars for beginners and intermediate learners at UofG. From January onward, I will be entirely responsible for an Introductory Italian course for undergraduate students at UofG.

In my teaching I adopt a learner-centred approach paired with a communicative method.

Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays.

I'm available for lessons at my office or where is more convenient for my client (provided it doesn't require me going to another city)
