I taught Spanish at The University of Iowa, US, for 2 years, and I'm currently teaching in several language schools around Montreal.

Maria is great teacher! Very experienced and professional. I needed to learn Spanish for work and travel. I had a few non productive meetings with other tutors before I met Maria, but after our first meeting I decided to continue working with her. It is important to feel at ease with your tutor(teacher) and she makes me feel very comfortable and motivated to keep studying. I’ve been studying with her around 4-5 months and now I’m on intermediate level(even my colleagues at work were wondering how did I learn so fast). You will get the best spanish with her. The way spanish is spoken arround the world is not really standardized. Tough one of the 2 country I know that spoke spanish that is really easy to understand is Mexico and center of colombia. She is from colombia and she speaks really well compared to spanish from other places. I really recommend.
Maria is fantastic! She has excellent interactive methods to teach Spanish and has a really open schedule to accomidate her students. Whenever I have a question she is always a text away. She works with my school curriculum and ensures that we are covering the material that fits my needs. She is a wonderful person to work with and is continuously radiating posivity. I highly recommend her!
