" Vietnamese is hard, but I will make it easy for you": Xin chào means Hello, however, in Vietnam, we never say "Xin chào", we say "Hello". I got accepted into High School for the Gifted - Vietnam National University with the main major being Vietnamese Literature. Therefore, there's no doubt about my language skills. I will teach you the true native Vietnamese.

Education / Certificates
I'm currently studying at George Brown College - Behaviour Analysis Bachelor. Born in Vietnam, I fully developed my Vietnamese culture and Saigonese accent - the accent of people who grew up in the biggest city of Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City). I got accepted into High School for the Gifted - Vietnam National University with the main major being Vietnamese Literature. Therefore, there's no doubt about my language skills.
Professional Experience
I used to be a tutor for underprivileged children living in social shelfter. I know how hard it is to teach someone something they have no idea about. However, with remarkable patience and a hard-working spirit, we could climb over every obstacle. A year ago, I was a collaborator for Hoa Hoc Tro Magazine with the duty of writing articles. It was an amazing experience as I grew better over time, learned new skills and saw another aspect of language.
Teaching Approach
I will use English to teach Vietnamese. The hardest part of learning Vietnamese is the tone. The Vietnamese Language has six tones in total. We will spend time familiarizing you with these before moving on to the next level. Grammar is important in written language. If you aim to become a professional Vietnamese writer, I can help you with grammar and spelling. How about singing Vietnamese songs? Karaoke is a wonderful way to practice pronunciation and tunes. Believe me, we will have a great time teaching and learning.
Availability
I am free on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 9:00 to 13:00 and I can manage to meet in the evenings if you need ( from 19:00 to 21:00). I'm available all day on Sunday.
Teaching Place(s)
I prefer a face-to-face appointment because it would be easy for both of us to interact verbally. We can study in some public places such as bubble tea shops, my school library,...
