I'm an experienced Russian teacher and RSL tutor. Having grown up in a bilingual environment, I'm a native speaker of both English and Russian - and I speak both languages without an accent. I've been to Russia dozens of times, lived and worked there, including working with teenage kids as a camp counsellor for 3 summers. I find languages and their nuances fascinating, and I love teaching! I'm an active member of Toastmasters and have been so for the past 5 years. I have well-developed communication and creativity skills, and I'm always working on perfecting them.

I tailor my teaching approach to each individual student. The teaching materials and methods I use, as well as the pace I teach at, depend on each person's age, level and goal. For advanced-level students, my focus is the practical application of a language, i.e. polishing pronunciation and becoming proficient in communicating in a way that sounds natural
I'm fairly flexible and can usually adapt to a student's schedule. I am, however, unavailable Mondays after 6 pm, Wednesdays after 5:30 pm, and Saturdays before 4 pm
