Hi, my name is Kohei. I was born and grew up in Japan, and moved to Canada to get Bachelor degree at Simon Fraser University. I'm studying Communication and Business. From my previous volunteer experience back in Japan, and tutouring experience over 10 students in Canada, I'm confident to say I have an ability to improve students' Japanese skills especially beginners. I understand how exciting and challenging to learn new languages, and I'm very passionate about helping students to open a door to new world. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you just started learing Japanese or don't speak Japanese at all. I always make sure to students are with me and never go to the next curriculum until you completely understand the previous part. Thank you for visiting my page, I'm looking forward to see you soon!
Pursuing Bachelor degree in Communication and Business at Simon Fraser University
Used to work in volunteer group which provides free guide for tourists in Japan by English. After I came to Canada, I have taught more than 10 students kids to adults.
It depends on your Japanese level, but since most of my previous/cureent students are biginner, I usually start from teaching basic Japanese letters (Hiragana, and Kanji), then move on to Kanji and basic grammars.
Even though I'm a full time student, I always try to be as flexible as I can to meet students needs. Please kindly ask me if you are interested in my lessons.
Usually coffee shop or somewhere quiet in malls. My lessons are usually held at Lougheed mall or Brentwood mall, I also travel to client's home when they needed.
Kohei made the lesson interesting and the hour and half went by quickly. I felt comfortable and it was at a good pace. I would definitely like to take more lessons with him in the near future
