I am an experienced francophone teacher of MFL, who is currently in her twenty second year teaching secondary languages. Spanish is my second language after French. Since September 2019, I have taught French at a mixed 2-18 British curriculum international school, in Mwanza, Tanzania. During my employment thus far, I have gained additional experience teaching Edexcel IGCSE Spanish, Edexcel IGCSE French and Cambridge IGCSE French (0520) to students in years 10 and 11, Cambridge A level French (9716) to students in year 12 and 13. Over the past 7 years, I have taught Languages in International Schools by using and developing a wide range of teaching and learning strategies, to ensure the learning needs of all students are met. To this end, I use and interpret the tracking data provided by the school, along with my first-hand knowledge of the learners when planning my lessons I have experience in teaching Spanish and French languages at all levels (KS3, 4 and 5) at different internationally schools. I have undertaken a monitoring role to ensure the MFL team complies with the KS3 and 4 statutory requirements of Speaking, Writing, Reading and Listening skills, by structuring the vocabulary and grammar pronunciation, intonation and accent they need to be able to apply at KS3, to enable the fluency of language skills at KS4.
I am flexible and can easily adapt to students timetable
