I currently teach English in Brazil and have taught Portuguese to some of my friends. I have spent a lot of time in Brazil and love Brazilian culture.
From my experience non-traditional methods of learning are much more effective when attempting to acquire language skills. I like to use materials like music, shows, Instagram posts, news articles and stories to teach. I am passionate about learning language through learning about culture. In my experience, most people struggle with listening and speaking which is why I focus on those areas when I am teaching.
