I have extensive experience in teaching English as a foreign language both online and in person, including the opportunity to teach all age groups for various business and personal purposes. My work has entailed exam preparation, improving communicative, grammar, writing, listening skills as well as teaching business courses. Customizing the courses for students’ needs, being a flexible and supportive tutor make my students relaxed and confident during the learning process. I launched, ran and taught in a language school for several years. My motto is: improve your English effectively in a fun way!
TESOL Certificate, 25 years of teaching experience, BA degree in teaching English as a second language. I am fluent in English, with American and British accent.
I have experience in tutoring communicative, grammar, general courses, courses for specific purposes, TOEFL, IELTS exam preparation courses and I prepare my students for Job interviews as well. I have taught students of all age groups from 5 to 70, gaining extensive experience in one-on-one tuition. My classes are fun and efficient as I motivate my students to speak and become self-confident users of the English language. Teaching is my passion.
I believe in the synergy of various methods, which I always select and adapt to my students' needs and learning styles. Whether it is the Communicative approach, TPR, TTT or other, I make sure that my students always make the most of it. The main idea is to get to know the person and his/her goals and select the best possible method and approach accordingly.
I am available from 14.00-20.00 from Monday to Friday Beijing Time (China) with a few exceptions. I have online classes but am flexible with my schedule.
I usually teach on Zoom but I am ready to teach via Skype as well.
