Teaching Approach
I like to use the Oral or Natural method. I would actively involve the student in both speaking and listening in Spanish in realistic everyday situations. In the process the student would gradually acquire grammatical structure and vocabulary. The student is encouraged to think in Spanish rather than translate. He or she hears and uses the language before seeing it written.
