I'm a Spanish native speaker born and raised in Colombia with a university degree in business administration. I lived in Toronto for 1 year as an English student so I also speak fluent English. I enjoy teaching about Hispanic culture, making the learning process fun and as simple as when we were children. Besides that, I believe that learning a new language it's the best way to make new friends from different backgrounds and being a citizen of the world.

I use functional categories of language to teach my students things that they need to know and use in everyday life. 1. Personal: Clarifying or arranging one's ideas; expressing one's thoughts or feelings. 2. Interpersonal: greetings and leave-takings, complimenting someone, indicating agreement or disagreement, making excuses, offering food and drinks and accepting or declining politely, sharing wishes, hopes, desires, problems. 3.Directive: Attempting to influence the actions of others; accepting or refusing direction. 4.Referential: talking or reporting about things, actions, events or people in the environment in the past or in the future. 5. Imaginative: Learning involving elements of creativity and artistic expression.
I am flexible and I can easily adapt to student's schedule.
