I am an experienced English Language Instructor with an M.A. in TESOL. I have worked with learners from all over the world with different language levels. I have ample tutoring and coaching experience as well. NOTE: I do not have expertise in TOEFL, TOEIC, or IELTS.
M.A. TESOL and B.A. in Cultural Anthropology.
I am currently working as an educator here in Victoria where I teach academic reading and writing. I also have 15+ years teaching English here in Victoria, Japan, China, the SF Bay Area, and as both an Academic English instructor and Academic English Language Coach at a university in Vancouver.
Skill-based learning for lower level learners; content-based learning for higher level. I am mostly skilled in teaching academic English, but can work with students who just want to build their conversational English skills.
Currently, daytime between 9-5pm, as well as some weekends.
I am happy to meet online or in a public location. However, I would ask that in-person students are masked and vaccinated.
