Traditional Mandarin which is usually used in Taiwan was inherited from Cangjie 5000 years ago. No matter traditional or Simplified Mandarin, the pronounce are the same and a part of words are a little different. If one can read Traditional Mandarin, then almost can read Simplified Mandarin.
