Only when voluntarily provided by tutors, we collect the following information: full name, contact information including an email and phone number, language skills, native language(s), country of origin, education, professional experience, tutor's availability, information on preferred teaching place, teaching approach, aproximate tutor's location for the map, requested hourly rates, photo, video, resume, other documents and information voluntarily sumbitted by tutors. We also collect their IP addresses at time a tutor's application form is submitted. We keep track of date/time when an application form is submitted, profile last updated, and when a tutor shows activity on the site (e.g., update status of a tutoring request) and display this information on tutors' profiles.
Only when voluntarily provided by potential students, we collect the following information: names, e-mail and phone numbers, their requests regarding language teaching. We also collect their IP addresses at time a tutoring request form is submitted.
We require this information to make our service possible, in particular, to present tutor's information on his/her profile, forward a tutoring request, match particular tutors to potential students, ensure other aspects of the service (e.g., tutor's status updates, collection of our marketing fees, etc). We will contact tutors, and sometimes, potential students by email, text message or phone as needed to clariy or request a certain information, notify or help connect tutors and students. Ip addresses we collect are used to quickly check a claimed location based on user's Ip address, thus helping prevent potential spam / fraudulent form submissions or to better match tutors to approximate location of potential students.
