Hi, I am teacher Liezl. I have been an online ESL teacher for five years now. I am a licensed professional teacher, a TKT certified from British Council, and a 120-hour TEFL or TESOL UK holder. I have been teaching European, Japanese, Taiwanese, and Chinese learners. I am from Cebu City and our dialect is Cebuano. However, as a Filipino Citizen, our national language is Filipino. Teaching approaches definitely depends on the student's level of speaking the language. For most kids (or sometimes adults) with Lower-Beginner level it is best to use the "Total Physical Approach" while intorducing the vocabulary words. On the other hand, if the learner are teens are adults, it is best to use the "Communicative Language Teaching (CLT)" wherein they can communicate their ideas about realistic situations. In this case, they will develop their critical thinking skills while enhancing their speaking skills as well.
I am available everyday except if I want to ask for a day-off (which seldom happens) or I have some events that needs my presence to be attended. I can teach from 4:00 -6:00 o'clock in the afternoon, Philippine Time.
I only teach online. I have an i5 laptop and a PC at home. An internet connection up to 100mbps and a back-up generator as power if there is an outage.
