Native English speaker with 20 years of experience teaching to all levels, ages and many nationalities.
I hold a Certificate of Teaching English as a Second Language: a 2 year, 30 credit program. I also hold a Master’s Degree in English.
In addition to working in Canada, I have taught in Europe and Asia. I have also taught at a university, high school, middle school and primary school levels.
The method I use is task based cooperative learning. It is student centred, which emphasizes skill and strategy development. Activities are structured to facilitate accomplishing common tasks. For Business English students, the class is designed to meet the specific business environment.
