I always tailor my lessons to my students needs. Some people just want conversation in a relaxed environment, some people want to improve grammar... Even if you just want to "survive" during your vacations down South, or you want to immerse into Latin culture, I have the material and approach perfect for you.
Very flexible from Monday to Friday. Some weekend hours negotiable in some circumstances. Priority to clients located in or close by Kanata or Ottawa West for in-home lessons. Online teaching (Skype) also available.
At public places or student home. Online.
I would highly recommend Vanessa as a tutor. She is very well organized and from the beginning did a fantastic job of tailoring the lessons to suit my learning needs. I find the topics well presented and I enjoy the classes very much.
Vanessa tutored my teenage son in Spanish and was professional, personable and flexible. I highly recommend her as a Spanish tutor.
I have been learning Spanish with Vanessa since September of 2018. I chose her as I was interested in learning the language from a Spanish native. She is a diligent tutor who is able to design the program according to the student needs. I would say I have a good grasp of Spanish grammar now because of her. She uses various teaching aids - exercises, games and appropriate homework for steady improvement. She is patient and does not mind going over and repeating things from the past in order to reinforce a concept. She can explain things well and the logic behind some of the rules in order to get a good grasp of the language. Finally she has a very pleasant manner and makes learning a new language fun!
