I have about 2 years of experience in the field of management and technology. Currently, I am not working because I realised that I am interested in the field of teaching especially teaching a language. Teaching comes naturally to me and although you require a skilled professional, I believe that if given a chance I will be able to grasp & pace up easily and excel at this opportunity.
I have studied commerce and management in human resources. So far, I have completed my bachelors. My master's programme got delayed due to the dire circumstances we are in presently. I have also studied a French language course for two years and participated in a cultural exchange initiative hosted by SIFIL, Pune and Alliance Francais, Lille. Currently, I am pursuing an online teacher training program and an economics diploma.
My tutoring experience happens to be a bit unorthodox for now. While working at a startup I have trained a few developers and recruiters for People Ops in topics such as Peer Interviewing, Hiring & Performance Management. This experience was challenging because not everybody expressed interest in the subjects taught, therefore, it was crucial to explain the importance and impact and make the topics compelling enough even when I was not sure about my field of work. I have also managed a team, handled accounts and explained briefs while working as a Client Relations Executive. I would be happy to send experience letters, LoRs, etc. if you needed.
While learning a language myself (French), I realised that The Direct and The Grammar-Translation method would be most effective. This way the students get ample amount of practise during the class itself. I would also adjust and introduce other methods of teaching for different students. The generic way is not always easily adaptable and convenient for all.
I would like to contribute to upto 5 days weekly. My schedule can be further adjusted in accordance with the clients' preference.
I will be available online until the COVID19 situation improves.
