Learn the Russian pronunciation, reading, basic grammar, conversational formulas in this easy, entertaining course. The intensive practice helps you to start using the new language in short conversations immediately. The use of international and loanwords in the course helps to facilitate familiarity with the letters of the Russian alphabet and to overcome the psychological barrier associated with the reputation of the Russian language as exotic and, therefore, difficult. Learn to speak about topics necessary for traveling such as shopping, asking the way, using public transport, etc. Texts and exercises let students know the elements of the cultural context of modern Russian life.

My experience learning Russian from Albina was wonderful. Lesson plans were well thought out. I developed skills at a surprising pace under her teaching. She has a sense of balance for what was a perfect amount of challenge without becoming overwhelming during each stage of my learning. Albina is charming and has a very good sense of humour. I found myself looking forward to her company each week as much as the lesson. Albina went above and beyond the language lessons to teach me about Russian culture and the country too which I think I enjoyed even more than learning the language. The lessons at her house provided a comfortable and relaxing environment. Her cat Simon was a great study buddy. I loved every minute of the experience and it was well worth the money. You could not find a better teacher than Albina anywhere. I give her my highest reccomendation to anyone looking to learn Russian.
I have greatly enjoyed my Russian lessons with Albina. I find her to be encouraging,methodical and thorough in her approach to teaching. She has many tools at her disposal. I also enjoy her insights into the Russian language and culture. I would highly recommend her!
