Canadian native English speaker with 5 years online teaching experience. In that time, I have taught over 1500 students one on one.
I have my high school diploma. To help me be a better teacher, I acquired my TESOL certificate.
In total I have been teaching students for over 10 years. More recently I have been teaching children online for over 5 years. Currently I work for a teaching company based out of Canada.
Personally, I find it is important to build a relationship with my students, to let them know I care about their personal development. I focus on using questions to help my students grow and learn. It is very important for my students to be able to carry on a conversation as many of them have learned the basic technical aspects. I use a teaching platform called ESL Library which gives me access to plenty of resources and lessons.
