Polish is my first language, we spoke only Polish at home. I was taught Polish language, literature, and history not just by my parents, but by my aunt, who was a college instructor in Poland, specializing in Polish studies.
As above; I am a retired Ph. D. in Music Theory.
My Ph. D. Dissertation was a translation of a Polish book into English.
