Certified, educated and experienced. I am a native speaker from the Rocky Mountains of B.C. (near Banff, Alberta) and longtime Vancouverite. I deliver lessons that are goal driven, preplanned and based on topics that my students choose. Our lessons will focus on specific tasks that you want to get better at doing. We'll increase your vocabulary and work on grammar while we focus on your language goals.
I'm TESOL certified and have a Bachelor of Arts degree with a minor in English and a major in Psychology. All my studies have been through reputable Canadian post secondary schools.
I have tutored many students (adults and children) as well as taught LINC (Language Instruction classes to Newcomers of Canada.) For many years, before becoming a teacher, I owned and financially managed a successful importing and promotions business.
