Hi! My name is Sergio, and I help beginner and intermediate students improve their English confidence through friendly, conversation-focused lessons. As someone who learned English as a second language and built a life in Canada, I understand the challenges students face and create a relaxed, supportive environment where learning feels natural and enjoyable.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University). I have also developed strong English communication and public speaking skills through professional experience in Canada and involvement with Toastmasters International. My teaching approach focuses on practical communication, confidence, and real-life conversation skills.
I have experience helping beginner and intermediate students improve their English confidence through conversation-focused lessons and real-life communication practice. In addition, I have several years of professional experience working in customer service, banking, and finance in Canada, where strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. This allows me to help students improve both everyday and professional English naturally and confidently.
My teaching approach is friendly, practical, and conversation-focused. I help students learn English through real-life speaking practice, pronunciation correction, vocabulary building, listening exercises, and simple grammar explanations when needed. I create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and building confidence step by step at their own pace
I’m flexible and can easily adapt to each student’s schedule and learning needs.
I currently offer lessons online through Zoom, providing flexible and convenient classes that students can join from anywhere.
