I have also tutored in basic Czech, German and Spanish. I am very patient and passionate about helping people of all ages to learn languages.”
Regarding educational background, I have a University of Toronto Bachelors Degree in modern languages and civilizations followed by a certificate in International Relations and Development from the Political Science Institute of Paris. I also obtained a Certificate in Basic Arab language when I was working with the United Nations in Iraq. Moreover I participated in various job related continuous training sessions.
During my work with the Canadian government and the United Nations I often organized and participated in workshops where I mentored international professionals in various languages. After retirement I wanted to maintain my knowledge of various languages and started online tutoring for the past five years. I am currently helping experts from various backgrounds to improve their English or French for their permanent residency in Canada.
I usually teach using the tools provided by the company such as Berlitz Canada that involves oral conversation, reading, grammar explanations and written expression. Additionally I supplement the normal lessons with more detailed explanations from various grammar sources.
All evenings from 20.00 to 23.00 pm Saturdays from 13.00 pm to 23.00 pm Sundays from 06.00 am to 23.00 pm I am also flexible during the other times if I do not have prior commitments with Berlitz.
I have been teaching online via Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
