I am a born and raised Canadian native English Speaker. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about other cultures. He has lived all across Canada, including Toronto, ON and Halifax NS. I now make my home in Vancouver, BC. I am able to provide my students with a diverse Canadian experience which enhances their learning. I received his TESOL certification from the International Language Academy of Canada.

I have done freelance ESL tutoring one on one tutoring at VPL. My skills include planning, preparing and delivering lessons. preparing teaching materials. helping learners improve their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills via individual sessions. I help newcomers build English language skills and learn more about life in Canada.
I teach using the ESA Method: Engage, Study, Activate. The engage phase keeps learners interested, the study phase helps students to learn through constructive activities, the activate phase helps put into practice what they have learned in a fun,productive, and authentic way.
I prepare lessons customized to fit the learners English needs. I observe and give feedback throughout the lesson and give an overall assessment of their strengths and where they need to improve.
I am available Monday-Thursday 7:00pm-9:00pm. I am open to accepting weekend requests but I must be notified 2-3 days in advance to make special preparation.
