Miranda is a native English speaker, with intermediate knowledge of French. She has been in the ESL, EFL industry for 14 years in many teaching capacities. She has taught a diverse range of learners over the years. In addition to being Celta certified, her credentials include a university degree in French Literature with a minor in Linguistics. I tend to use a more relaxed approach as language learning can be stressful and anxiety-inducing. The comfort of my learner is my primary concern as it is only then that a learner can remain focused and able to better understand and absorb the content. I like to use a mix of activities, exercises and games to retain the attention and interest of the learner. Finally, each and every one of my lessons or meetings are carefully tailored to the needs of the learner, not just random material pulled off of the internet or out of text books.
