A native English speaker with two years of ESL teaching/tutoring, including teaching overseas (Thailand and Ecuador). I am TEFL certified. I am fluent in Spanish and it was my major for undergrad at the University of Virginia. I have also tutored in Spanish simultaneously with English for two-years.

Undergraduate degree in Spanish from the University of Virginia. TEFL certified. I have lived, taught, and traveled (28 countries) overseas by means of living in language/cultural immersion. On the road to Grad school with teaching credential included.
Professional Experience
I have been private tutoring, assistant teaching, and teaching Spanish and ESL for two-years to business professionals, visiting international professors, African refugee adults, 1000 high schools in Thailand, k-8 at a privae school for gifted children (Peabody school, VA), and university students.
Teaching Approach
Depending on the needs and wants of the students, I can utilize and cover all language components of English and Spanish: touch on verbs, vocabulary, grammar, syntax, spelling, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, speaking, and conversational. I use all mediums: paper, pen, projector, role play, recall technique, textbook exercises, mini quizzes all the while, and more.
