Hi! I very much enjoy and take teaching English very seriously. Thirteen years ago, teaching English changed my perspective and gave me meaning in life. I proudly held the position of Director of Studies whilst working in China and have nearly always held team-leading positions in academies that I have worked at. I have also taught adults, Business English and happily taught at Nokia and Samsung too. My academic career entails working with people from many different cultures who want to improve their English skills. I have the knowledge, skills, and experience to teach English to others and know the problems and difficulties that most students face. I enjoy helping people to develop and succeed and I am flexible and plan my lessons to suit the needs of my students.

I usually chat with the student in our first lesson to evaluate their level of English skills and then we chat about what they want or need to cover. Then I build lessons to suit their needs.
As a Lecturer: Demonstration, modeling, questions (convergent), presentation, slideshow, note-taking. Multiple-choice items, solving a problem, comparing and filling in lecture notes, debriefing a mini case study, pair-compare, pair-compare-ask, reflection/reaction paragraph, solve a problem, concept mapping activities, correct the error, compare and contrast, paraphrase the idea, answer knowledge and comprehension questions.
