Russian, English and Ukrainian Language Tutor Alla

Alla is truly an amazing tutor. I attend a well known all-boy boarding school outside of London, and have studied Russian for three semesters. In the two months that I have been tutored by Alla, my Russian has improved as if I'd studied for another full semester. On our first lesson, Alla probed me for my interests and hobbies, then included that in the lesson plan in the following lessons. Alla included many challenges in each lesson too, typically covering two to three in depth subjects a lesson. Alla also doesn't let anything slip, and with one question is willing to explain yet another whole topic, leaving nothing out yet again. Alla is certainly not the type of person who watches the clock, sometimes letting the lesson carry on for an extra half hour. The homework Alla gives is very demanding, oftentimes being translation from Russian to English (with a dictionary she provides), learning a certain amount of words, learning cases, practising speaking, or any mixture of the activities listed above. Oftentimes her homework would take me yet another hour or hour and a half where perfect focus was required. When this homework is handed in Alla pays perfect attention and corrects you for your mistakes and suggests how to improve it for the next time. Alla is one of the best teachers I have ever had and believe her to be a great Russian tutor.
