Self-taught polyglot and native French Speaker from Montreal with two years of tutoring experience (with adults and children). I'm completing certifications in Educational neuroscience, neuropsychology, special needs education, TEFL and TESOL.
To give an overview of my educational background, I have completed a diploma in social work, and I am now completing courses in neuropsychology, educational neuroscience, the science of learning, special needs education, TEFL, and TESOL. Through these courses, I developed helpful plans and strategies for helping people achieve their linguistic goals. My language classes are interactive, creative, and individualised based on their individual goals and learning styles.
In the last few years, I have been working as a language tutor. I have worked with many organisations in different countries to help people(children and adults) improve their French and English abilities. Additionally, I have opened my private practice as a language tutor and mindset mentor, where I have the opportunity to work with many students in Canada, the UK, and Australia who wish to improve their linguistic skills. My goal is to help students succeed in all areas of language learning - grammar, writing, listening comprehension, reading, and of course, speaking based on their unique needs, interests, and linguistic goals.
I excel at helping students with assignments, evaluating their learning styles, capabilities, needs, and providing new learning styles to help integrate their target language into their daily lives through real-life scenarios, challenges, and activities. Since I've tutored students of various abilities and skill levels, I've developed creativity, innovation and communication skills. As a tutor, I can stimulate students' enthusiasm and long-term motivation. As well as being extremely passionate, I am capable of understanding each individual's needs and adapting my teaching skills accordingly. I believe learning languages can enrich people's lives. I am committed to cultivating an environment where they can strengthen their growth mindset and motivation towards their goals while cultivating an environment where they can learn and succeed. In addition, I constantly share with my students' elements about the science of learning, neuroplasticity of the brain, how to engage the brain in the learning process, developing a long term memory, and a polyglot mindset, etc.
