I'm a holder of two M.A. degrees, the first is in Applied Linguistics (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and the second M.A. is in Translation and Interpretation. I have extensive work and research experience in both fields. I have as well formal training in teaching Arabic as a foreign language.
Professional Experience
I have taught many school subjects for children in Arabic and English, in addition I have trained for the TOEFL and IELTS tests. My students have been able to score more than 630 for the TOEFL. I have the training and extensive experience of devising exam questions for different purposes. I have taught General English, Business English, and English for Academic purposes. Written Translation, Essay Writing and Reading comprehension are all subjects that I'm experienced at teaching. Power point presentations and educational consultancy are among my areas of expertise.
Teaching Approach
Mostly I use the communicative and translation method when needed. I try to make the student derive the rule by themselves by providing many examples. short story telling, questions, answers, discussions and journal writing are some ideas I use in my own teaching.
