I am Afsaneh. A 33-year-old wife, mother of two, Ph.D. student in TESOL, IELTS holder (8), and CELTA certified Professional English teacher.
I am a Ph.D. student of TESOL (Teaching English as a Second Language). My IELTS score is 8, with a score of 9 in the reading section. I have also obtained my Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) from Teaching House London. I am a native Persian speaker and I have received my certificate in Teaching Persian to speakers of other languages. So I am a professional Persian teacher too!
I have been working as a teacher for over ten years in various colleges and language institutes in Iran. I taught English to learners of different proficiency levels, age groups, and diverse cultural backgrounds. After receiving my CELTA certificate in 2020, I started my online English teaching on various online platforms (such as Italki), where I began teaching general English and IELTS preparation courses to learners of English around the world.
My classes are fun and interactive. You will have assignments after every session for further practice at home. I will design my lesson plan and syllabus based on students' needs and priorities.
