I graduated from Shanghai Normal University (known as the University of Teacher) with a BA degree in Chinese Language and Literature. Learned professional knowledge and skills in Chinese teaching and also studied teaching Chinese as a foreign language in school. After graduation, I pursued a Master Degree in City University of Hong Kong. During the three year learning and working in Hong Kong, plus my interests in language learning, I speak fluent Cantonese, so I can teach in Cantonese as well. I have been teaching Chinese and English in my spare time both in Shanghai and Hong Kong for around four years, students ranging from primary school students to adults. I can do private tutoring or group teaching. My teaching philosophy is to create a culture related learning environment for my students, introducing the cultural background of what they are learning as well as the language. I believe that is the best way for them to learn Chinese quicker and better.
