English native speaker & born and raised Indigenous Canadian with a BA degree and years of academic tutoring experience. Tutoring is tailored to individual skill level and learning style preferences.
Bachelor of Applied Arts Degree in Justice Studies (2024), Diploma in Correctional Justice Studies (2021)
Experience working within a post-secondary education institution, mainly with Indigenous learners and prospective learners but also with International students.
Over 3 years of academic tutoring experience.
An approach that is interactive and engaging and utilizes visuals, exercises and/or "games", and a hands-on approach to learning. Teachings are also tailored to individual skill level and learning style preferences. Once an individual's learning style preferences are known, I prefer to approach tutoring with pre-designed and organized lessons for each teaching.
Flexible and adaptable schedule based on students' availability. Always available Monday to Friday from 4:00PM to 9:00PM, and on Saturday and Sunday between 8:00AM and 8:00PM.
Tutoring available both online (through Skype or Microsoft Teams) and in-person for local clients. In-person teachings may take place in a public space (library, cafe, park, etc.) anywhere in the city, or within Downtown Calgary at my office.
