I am from Osaka, and a Japanese native speaker. I was a teacher and taught social studies at several high schools and Japanese culture at several colleges in Japan. I was a teaching assistant for a Japanese language assistant at UBC. Also, I am currently a mature student at UBC.
I have a Bachelor of Laws, Cultural Studies of masters in Japan. Also, my major is Asian Studies, and my minor is Gender, Race, Sexuality and Social Justice at UBC.
I was a teaching assistant for the Japanese language program at UBC. I taught social studies at several high schools and Japanese culture, such as makeup history and body adornment, at several colleges in Japan.
Basically, following the textbook "Genki", we will study Japanese. According to the topic, we will have a conversation and fix pronunciation.
We choose a book, make a summary and have a discussion about the book. In addition, we read Japanese news and talk about current events. Also, free conversation is welcome.
I am open to students' requests.
