I am a native speaker living in Canada, but I was born in England. I have a university degree and TEFL certification. Teaching English as a second language, or ELL, is my specialty. With over 25 years tutoring and teaching experience, I have collected a wide selection of teaching materials for all levels of ability. I teach adults and children.

I have over 25 years experience tutoring and teaching. I have taught exam preparation for IELTS, CELPIP and SAT. Previously, I was an IELTS teacher in a language school. I have also taught beginners and young children. I have taught a great deal of conversation practice and pronunciation. I usually include some grammar in all my classes. For children, the focus is often on phonics and reading.
I work together with my students, so they receive the class that best suits them. I ask them what they want to work on. As I find out what they can and can't do well, we discuss what areas need studying. Most commonly I help students with grammar and pronunciation. I offer a wide range of topics for our study.
I am available most days and will try to fit you in to the time slot you prefer.
