Looking for an affordable way to help you or your child achieve success in a second language? I have a passion for language and would love to assist!
Bachelor of Arts with a major in French from SFU as well as a Bachelor of Education from UBCO with a focus on elementary French immersion education. Completed B2 level DELF exam.
Tutoring multiple subjects (including English and French) to elementary/middle/high school aged children/adolescents for 8 years.
Currently working as a certified BC teacher employed by school district 83 in the north Okanagan Shuswap at Carlin middle school.
I feel both children and young adults learn best in a peer on peer environment as it is less intimidating for them. Having both been a tutor and a tutee, I understand what is needed for students to succeed. Teaching and learning languages has always been a passion of mine and I can assist in helping the student with pre-exisisting course work as well as provide additional materials to enrich their learning experience.
