I am a native French speaker currently studying abroad in Ontario. My goal is to create an engaging and supportive learning environment that not only builds confidence but also fosters fluency.
I completed my high school education at Pensionnat du Saint-Nom-de-Marie in Montreal, where I received Certificates of Excellence in Economics, History, and French. Following this, I attended an English CEGEP, where I studied Business and International Relations, a program that strengthened my communication skills while preparing me for post-secondary studies in English. I am now pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Organizational Studies with a specialization in Legal Studies at Western University in Ontario.
I have gained diverse professional experience in customer service, education and leadership roles. I worked as a waitress at Les Enfants Terribles, camp counsellor at a summer camp in Ontario, sales associate at Mélanie X Zoé, as well as a cross-country and flag-football coach. These experiences have allowed me to develop exceptional communication, leadership and organizational skills, and a strong ability to work effectively with people of all ages and backgrounds.
My teaching approach as a tutor would be interactive and personalized. I believe that students learn best through active participation and real-life context, so I would focus on making lessons as engaging and relevant to their goals as possible. Drawing from my experience as a coach and camp counsellor, I prioritize creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. I am also engaging myself in tailoring my methods of teaching to each student's pace and learning styles.
