Master's in Italian Literature.
I've taught Italian in Vancouver, at the Italian Cultural Centre and at the International House. I currently teach advanced Culture courses at the Italian Institute of Culture in Montreal and at the Dante Alighieri Society of BC. I've been teaching privately for more than 4 years.
I aim to teach a real and lively Italian, the one Italians speak! My classes are very conversational, with a focus on Italian culture as well.
I also offer advanced classes for students who seek to bring their Italian to the next level, with a focus on writing, reading and examining Italian literature and advanced grammar.
Weekdays after 5 pm.
At the moment I teach only online.
I have had Italian teachers in the past. All were competent but with Benedetta the whole process is seamless and fun. Benedetta is a lovely teacher. Prior to our first session she asked me what I expected/wanted from our sessions. I told her and she definitely delivered. She was patient, on time and always well prepared. If it wasn't for a scheduling conflict I would still be studying Italian with her.
I really enjoyed my lesson with Benedetta, and hope to take lessons with her again in the future.
Benedetta is very easy to work with and a great instructor! She makes learning fun!
