As a mentor who has done research in four countries, and worked with students, entrepreneurs and indigenous groups, I counsel on learning and idea development techniques for people around the world. I began tutoring in high school after a math teacher recommended me to a fellow student. Tutoring progressed into mentoring as I journeyed through research projects in University. I conducted research in a diverse array of laboratories. Some of my fondest memories include molecular biology experiments (protein turnover), physics apparatus building (design of a scanning tunneling microscope), chemical identification (mass spectroscopy), organ culture (vascular physiology), space radiation studies in the NASA lab (proton radiation exposure), and much ethnographic and ethnobotany fieldwork. I have completed the University of California Davis Entrepreneurship Academy and attended various entrepreneurship conferences. I am currently part of the Montreal School of Entrepreneurship. I really enjoy seeing ideas come to life. From these experiences, challenges, and lessons, I share knowledge and techniques that can help you (or your child) succeed at academics and take advantage of their knowledge to create, design, and research using your own exciting ideas. Teaching Approach
I help students achieve their goal. This is often a project or need to pass a standardized exam. To do this, we work in a shared document so that the student can download all our notes easily. I also help students refine their speaking, writing and pronunciation.
