Has a Bachelor of Education and a Masters in Education with a major in English as a Second Language (ESL). She has more than twenty years of English teaching experience and one year of ESL online teaching experience Her greatest achievement is being able to live and enjoy her passion- teaching. Her lifetime friends, colleagues, and students find her open-minded, empathetic, positive, and approachable. She believes that teaching ESL online is a venue for her to share her knowledge and experience with others. She will be suited for learners from, primary, intermediate to advanced learning levels.
I have a Bachelor in Elementary Education graduate with a major in Teaching English as a Second Language ( TESL). I also have an M.A. in Education major in English as a Second Language ( ESL). I took and passed the Licensure Examination for teachers in our country.
I have taught English as a Second Language to Filipino, Chinese-Filipino, and foreign students for more than twenty years now. I was able to teach children as young as 7 years old and Junior High school. For online ESL online teaching, I was able to teach primary to advanced levels of students.
I usually use the Communicative English Teaching method, depending on the different levels of students. For young learners, I use visuals, games, songs, video clips. I also use modelling, especially for pronunciation. For the intermediate and advanced levels, I use varied methods e.g., conversational, comprehension, dialogues, open-ended questions, etc.. I engage learners in a fun and non-threatening way in natural communication to allow them to use the English language when expressing their ideas.
I am available during weekdays from 6:00- 10:00 P.M. and weekends from 8:00 A.M. - 4:00 P..M and 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
I can have online lessons Via Skype or Zoom meeting. I have a PC and a stable internet connection at home.
