Born and raised in beautiful BC, Canada, Kameyo started tutoring English as a Second Language in 2010. She became TESL certified the following year at International House, and immediately went to teach at a school in México for three months. Now back in Vancouver, Kameyo is tutoring children, teenagers, and adults from around the world as her full time job. She is friendly, easy to talk to, and has a clear voice. Kameyo’s classes flow naturally from speaking, to grammar, to writing, and she is willing to talk about anything from fashion trends, to politics and history. Kameyo’s personal interests are: food (both cooking and eating), salsa dancing, Spanish – her second language!, travelling, culture, people, walking, and gardening.

Kameyo is a very experienced tutor, she is very patient and friendly, she come to every lesson prepared on what to teach. She tutor my 9 years old little sister for the summer, my sister ended every class very happy, and ended up having a lot more confidence in her own English abilities as a result.
Kameyo was teaching 2 boys who are 9 and 10 years old. She is very engageing and friendly, speaks very clearly and explains well. She also kept the lessons interesting with a combination of speaking, grammar, vocabulary and games. Overall a great experience and highly recommended English tutor.
