Thank you so much for your time and consideration in reviewing my Profile to accommodate your interest in succeeding with your English language goals and naturalizing your unique speech expressions.
I am a native English Speaker with a Bachelor of Arts degree on English Literature at the University of British Columbia (UBC). I am a meticulous, highly detailed note-taker evidenced throughout my undergraduate research notes. I'm also happy to extend my note-taking abilities to characterize your voice's physical and intentional manifestation of speech-language unique vocal expressions through interpreting literary texts, historical events, nostalgic travel writings like Pierre Loti's literature reveling in the intensity of sensation and emotion of exploring the wilderness and artificial inequalities.
I'm also open to conversing about the English language itself as a style, composition and practical experience with the changes of your external surroundings, such as moments of simple movement in urban or natural settings. If needed, I'm willing to accommodate extensive literary interpretation on the English language as an expression that has adapted to other languages.
I can accommodate your learning pathway via online or in-person throughout Vancouver. Currently, I am aiding two non-profit environmental conservation groups: one is focusing on accommodating technical proficiency with campaign development and refining research notes on pollutants, and the second is on public speaking dramatizing coastal conservation efforts through dialogue and gestures. Thanks again for reading this! Looking forward to our communication and helping you succeed in your English language and literacy goals!
University of British Columbia (UBC).
I have worked in UBC Koerner library as a Shelving Assistant in the past.
Proficiency in English is a journey where each individual has a different learning style, strengths and weaknesses. I believe in getting to know a student as a person, finding his/her learning style to personalize his or her guideline for success in English literacy. I can accommodate deeper thinking processes in essay writing homework and reading comprehension by creating reading comprehension/discussion questions that divulge authentic and nuanced meaning on your interpretation of the text or the text's connection to the author's lived experience.
Also, we can revisualize complex, unfamiliar words together to create a better experience of homework management techniques, handwriting script refinement and test-day strategies that re-interprets (and reduces) the taxing weight of mental effort that can sometimes feel overwhelming to manage alone. Looking forward to hearing out your dreams and aspirations in your language abilities!
I am available during Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays from 9:00am to 9:00pm. I am also available on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
